Crisis Communication Management Strategies to Deal with Sensitive Issues in Da'wah in the Post-Truth Era

In the post-truth era, emotions and opinions that are felt greatly influence the decisions made by individuals. This can lead to communication problems, especially in da'wah institutions. The author in this article explains that crisis communication management can be pursued by da'wah institutions as a way to deal with sensitive issues in the midst of a rapid and often misinterpreted flow of information. The importance of conducting this research is based on the deteriorating perspective of the community in implementing their spiritual activities, so it is necessary to design the right strategy to be carried out and socialized. In this study, the author uses a qualitative research method of literature review design and analyzes related to the concept of crisis communication, da'wah institution strategies, and problems that arise in the post-truth era towards Islamic da'wah through the collection of data from various journals. The results of the study show that the existence of post-truth brings the threat of the formation of a religious activity of the community that is only based on personal beliefs according to their emotional condition, so that an arrangement is needed for community communication activities.
